Finding the Heart of the Home.
I have always believed that the things we bring into our homes should do more than just take up space. They should tell a story, or at the very least, make a Tuesday morning feel a little more special.
Being from Michigan's Upper Peninsula, where "home" is a sanctuary from the elements. I started Northern Grove because I found myself constantly searching for items that felt personal—pieces that had a bit of soul and a clean, timeless look. I realized that if I was spending hours looking for the perfect candle that didn't just smell right, but looked right, others probably were too.
My Personal Standard
I don’t view Northern Grove as just a shop. I view it as a collection of things I truly love. As a reseller, my job is to be the eyes for my customers. I spend a lot of time looking for the right wholesalers and makers because I’m looking for a specific feeling.

The Look: I am drawn to natural textures—amber glass, organic wood, and simple, honest labels. I look for items that feel high-end but aren't "precious." They’re meant to be used.

The Vibe: Whether it’s a candle with a witty label that gives a tired mom a laugh or a heart-shaped spoon that adds a bit of warmth to a kitchen, I only stock what I would be proud to have in my own house.

The Selection: If I wouldn’t give it to my own special someone, I won’t sell it. I do the digging and the testing so that when you find something here, you know it has already passed a very high personal bar.
